About

Howdy! I am a home LAN and self-hosting hobbyist / enthusiast. Translation: I am a control freak - nothing drives me more nuts than public cloud-hosted SaaS.

Apparently, sometimes I like to write, too.

Ultimately, I’m learning, and this is my place to record my learning. If you happen to stumble across this site, and if you can parse any of my hopeless ramblings, I hope that you get something out of it. I make no claims as to the veracity of the content. It is not my goal to write full tutorials: I try to document just enough so that I can refer back to my thought process at the time, as well as enough detail to re-implement a process should I need to. YMMV.

Occasionally I will post less technical, more prose-y content. Please don’t read those, I’d be concerned for your sanity.

Finally, I am obligated to inform you that my | dream is to have vimkeys in every program. (But if you’ve read a few of my posts, you’ve probably inferred that much.)
